New Delhi: 500 Mail Express trains have been upgraded by Indian Railways to Superfast status. In addition, by upgrading to the Superfast category, 130 services (65 pairs) have also experienced speed increases. Trains are accelerated by anywhere from 10 to 70 minutes.
The new All India Railway Time Table, known as “TRAINS AT A GLANCE,” which the Ministry of Railways released on its official website, alerted the public of this change. The revised schedule becomes effective on Saturday.
According to the Ministry, Mail Express trains will arrive on time in 2022–2023 in roughly 84 percent of cases, which is about 9 percent more often than they will in 2019–2020.
