On World MSME Day in New Delhi, Union Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Jitan Ram Manjhi, unveiled two new initiatives. The “MSME TEAM” program seeks to enable Open Network for Digital Commerce for five lakh micro and small businesses. However, the Yashasvini campaign concentrates on raising public awareness of the need to legalize women-owned microenterprises that are not yet registered and to offer the required help and guidance.
Speaking at the Udyami Bharat event on the occasion, Mr. Manjhi stated that MSMEs must align themselves with the adoption of digital and technical solutions in an industry that is changing quickly. He stated that legal improvements in the MSME sector will have a multiplicative effect on the government’s ongoing reforms. Speaking to the media, Mr. Manjhi stated that encouraging entrepreneurship is essential to the growth of those from the worst socioeconomic backgrounds.
