n connection with Golden Jubilee Celebrations of India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971 War – `Swanim Vijay Varsh’, Weapons & Equipment Display were organised at Colachal Stadium, Pangode Military Station, today (05 July). Brigadier Kartik Seshadri, Station Commander, Pangode Military Station inaugurated the event.
While addressing the gathering, Brigadier requested all soldiers attending the ceremony to take pledge and promise to display similar act of courage and devotion when there is a call for duty by the motherland even at the peril of life.
Officers, Soldiers and their family members of Pangode Military Station witnessed the event. Patriotic Poem Recitation competitions for children were also conducted and prizes distributed to the winners. Due to Covid pandemic situation, the public were not allowed.
