Sai Pallavi-Rana Daggubati’s ‘Virata Parvam’, directed by Venu Udugula, will not be hitting the screens on April 30. Suresh Productions on Wednesday said that the new release date will be announced soon.
“In view of the second wave of coronavirus and the alarming rise in cases, we have decided to postpone the movie,” the makers said.
The postponement announcement came with the logo of Netflix, the streaming partner of the awaited film.
This is the second film featuring Sai Pallavi to get postponed this year. ‘Love Story’, starring Naga Chaitanya as the hero, was supposed to release on April 16. ‘Tuck Jagadish’, ‘Paagal’, ‘Seetimaarr’ and ‘Acharya’, too, have been put on hold indefinitely.
As for Rana, the actor last month had a release in the form of ‘Aranya’. Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the film turned out to be a damp squib.
