Vikram Misri, the foreign secretary, will be visiting Bhutan for two days on business. This will be his first trip overseas since becoming Foreign Secretary. Mr. Misri will have a meeting with the Bhutanese king during his visit. The Foreign Secretary will meet with his counterpart in Bhutan and other high-ranking members of the Royal Government of Bhutan in addition to making calls on the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade. Additionally, the two foreign secretaries will co-chair the Plan Talks, also known as the India-Bhutan Development Cooperation Talks.
