New Delhi: The government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a number of historic choices, according to Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr. Jitendra Singh, to promote excellent governance in all departments.
Speaking on Sunday at the Department of Personnel and Training’s (DoPT) celebration of Good Governance Day in New Delhi, Dr. Singh emphasised the numerous changes and accomplishments made by DoPT over the previous eight years.
He said that the DoPT’s reforms aim to promote excellent governance, greater accountability, and technology use with less human interaction. Dr. Singh continued by saying that measures like the elimination of self-attestation and the requirement of interviews for various government positions represent Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s philosophy of “Maximum Governance, Minimum Government.”
