Congress was branded as the largest opponent of the Constitution by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In response to the Motion of Thanks on President Droupadi Murmu’s speech to the joint session of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, he said that the Congress had an anti-SC, anti-ST, and anti-OBC mindset. In addition, he charged that the main opposition party had insulted previous President Ram Nath Kovind and had gone to great lengths to offend President Droupadi Murmu. According to Mr. Modi, the constitution’s words and spirit are important to the administration and constitute more than just a list of provisions. He claimed that the constitution serves as a beacon for the government, providing guidance.

The Prime Minister hailed Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s contribution and noted that the constitution is about to celebrate its 75th year. He attacked opponents of Constitution Day celebrations throughout his speech, claiming that it had evolved into a festival of the people. According to the Prime Minister, the reason why the people elected the NDA back into office was their belief that the current government will uphold the constitution.

Regarding the three-term objective of the Narendra Modi administration, he stated that the nation will overcome poverty and that it will be the government’s top priority. The government’s key priority, according to Mr. Modi, would be the social systems’ expansion, depth, and pace. He emphasized that in its third term, the administration is determined to make the nation the third-largest economy in the world. In the next five years, he predicted, the nation’s public transportation infrastructure will undergo significant changes.
