The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha is scheduled to meet starting on this month’s 24th. The newly elected MPs will be sworn in, their affirmations made, and the Lok Sabha Speaker will be chosen during this session.

This session will also feature a debate of President Droupadi Murmu’s address to the combined sitting of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. On this month’s 27th, the Rajya Sabha will convene. The third of the following month will mark the end of the Parliamentary session.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju shared this information on social media. The nation’s decision has been made, according to Mr. Rijiju, and MPs now have a duty to serve it. He asserted that Parliament provides the ideal forum for discussion, deliberation, and action to realize the dreams of 140 crore Indians.
