Temporary cancellation advised for Special Trains

The temporary cancellation advised for Special Trains up to 31st May/01st June, 2021 due to very low passenger occupancy was explicit for the said period and hence advance bookings were permitted for the period beyond cancellation. Additional temporary cancellation and extension of temporary cancellation has been notified for few trains due to poor patronage. All the other special trains eventually resume service. The status quo of advance reservations will continue as per this pattern. Passengers may kindly note that the following special trains started running.

  1. Train No. 06013 Alappuzha – Kollam Junction Daily MEMU Express Special.
  2. Train No. 06014 Kollam Junction – Alappuzha Daily MEMU Express Special.

  2. Train No. 06730 Punalur – Madurai Junction Daily Special will resume service between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Madurai Jn. from 02nd June 2021. The train will not run between Punalur and Thiruvananthapuram Central from 02nd June, 2021 to 16th June, 2021.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION FOR FIFTEEN DAYS

  1. Train No. 06127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Daily Special is temporarily cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Guruvayur from 01st June 2021 to 15th June, 2021. The train will run from Chennai Egmore to Thiruvananthapuram Central as per schedule.
  2. Train No. 06128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Daily Special will be temporarily cancelled between Guruvayur and Thiruvananthapuram Central from 02nd June to 16th June, 2021. The train will run from Thiruvananthapuram Central to Chennai Egmore as per schedule.
