Gujarat: Sarbananda Sonowal, the Union Minister for AYUSH, has declared that the Central government is committed to giving the nation’s residents a healthy life by effectively integrating cutting-edge medical disciplines like allopathy with conventional Ayurvedic treatment modalities.
He was addressing at Symbiosis International University in Pune at the conclusion of the three-day National Conference on Health and Bioscience Research. The Minister emphasised that there should not be a conflict between contemporary and conventional therapeutic modalities. He described how some people approach traditional therapeutic procedures by looking for scientific proof.
He said that these folks needed to realise that Ayurveda is currently being investigated on a global scale and that such proof is already available. He continued by saying that the World Health Organization made the decision to establish a permanent office in Jamnagar, Gujarat, solely due to the value of the Indian medical system. In his opinion, future study on all AYUSH-related therapy modalities is necessary.
