Ram Charan on Saturday appreciated the efforts of Mega fans to do their bit for the needy in times of the pandemic. Without mentioning the setting up of oxygen banks under the aegis of the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, the ‘RRR’ actor thanked the Mega fans.
“I have been closely watching the fans step up and strive hard to give back to society during the pandemic. From being the first to react to distress calls to taking various initiatives, you all did it with great devotion,” the ‘Rangasthalam’ actor wrote.
He said that he would like to sincerely appreciate each and every one of his fans for going out of their way to help those in need.
It may be noted that oxygen banks have come up in the Telugu States, thanks to the efforts of Chiranjeevi, his son and his legion of fans. There is a view that the father-son duo and their fans have got a raw deal from the media, which has shied away from talking about their noble work.
As for ‘RRR’, the film might figure out a new release date. Directed by SS Rajamouli, it co-stars Jr NTR. ‘Acharya’ and a film with Shankar are the other projects that Charan is doing.
