The next two months will see the start of the Vande Bharat Sleeper Class train trial run. The Vande Bharat Express, which exclusively features chair coaches, is being operated by the Railways. The vande Bharat sleeper train is being demanded by the public in New Delhi, according to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The first semi-high speed train built in India is called the Vande Bharat train.
According to the Minister, the government will continue to prioritize developing the train infrastructure and giving passengers comfortable travel times over the next five years. He said that 35,000 kilometers of rail tracks had been constructed in the previous ten years. The Minister emphasized that the government is concentrating on giving low-income groups decent transportation. Additionally, he stated that efforts are underway to enhance the output of Amrit Bharat trains.
Mr. Vaishnaw stated that Indian Railways had run almost 20,000 special trains, carrying about four crore passengers, to accommodate the increased passenger traffic during the summer.
