The largest skill competition in India, which aims to showcase the best skilling, is about to go off in New Delhi. More than nine hundred students from more than thirty states and Union Territories will compete in the IndiaSkills Competition 2024, according to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The event will also feature more than 400 industry professionals, according to the Ministry.
Participants will get the opportunity to display their varied abilities and expertise on a national platform spanning 61 talents, ranging from traditional crafts to cutting-edge technologies, during the four-day IndiaSkills competition. 14 of the 47 skills competitions will take place in Karnataka, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat, with the remaining 47 taking place on-site and taking advantage of the greatest infrastructure available. In addition, the students will engage in nine exhibition talents, including prosthetic makeup, textile weaving, leather shoemaking, and drone filmmaking. The IndiaSkills champions will train for the WorldSkills Competition, which will include 1,500 contestants from more than 70 countries in September of this year in Lyon, France.
