Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 17th instalment of more than 20 thousand crore rupees under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh tomorrow. The instalment will be released to nine crore 26 lakh beneficiary farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer. So far, more than 11 crore eligible farmer families have received benefits of more than three lakh crore rupees under the PM-KISAN scheme. During the event, the Prime Minister will also grant Certificates to more than 30 thousand women from Self Help Groups such as Krishi Sakhis.
This month on the 18th and 19th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make visits to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The Prime Minister will witness the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat tomorrow evening. He will also attend the Kashi Vishwanath Temple for puja and darshan.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the Nalanda ruins early on the 19th. He will then officially open the Nalanda University campus in Rajgir, Bihar. The Prime Minister will also give a speech to the group on this special day.
