Mumbai will be the destination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s one-day visit. Mr. Modi is scheduled to speak at an event commemorating the Reserve Bank of India’s ninety-year existence in the city.
Today marks the 90th anniversary of the Reserve Bank of India’s founding on April 1st, 1935. A commemoration ceremony is being organized by the RBI on this date.
The program will also feature participation from Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, as well as Ministers of State for Finance Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad and Pankaj Chaudhary. Shaktikanta Das, the governor of the RBI, will also give a speech at the event.
The event will also feature participation from leaders of several banks and industries, as well as Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadanvis and Ajit Pawar.
