Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for a formal three-day visit to Russia and Austria. Mr. Modi will be in Moscow for the 22nd Annual Summit between Russia and India during the first part of his tour.

Prime Minister Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin will have the chance to discuss a wide variety of bilateral topics during the yearly summit, including defense, trade, investment, energy cooperation, education, culture, and people-to-people interactions. Additionally, they will discuss mutually interesting perspectives on regional and global trends. The state of their bilateral ties with the UN, BRICS, G20, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, East Asia Summit, and other organizations will also be evaluated by both leaders.

Prime Minister will have a special dinner hosted by the President of Russia. The Prime Minister would engage with the Indian community residing in Russia tomorrow. In addition, Putin will visit the Rosatom Pavilion at the Moscow exhibition site and lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Kremlin. The two leaders will hold restricted-level discussions after these engagements, and delegation-level discussions will come after that.
