Prime Minister Narendra Modi would transfer around 20,000 crore rupees into the accounts of 9 crore 3 lakh farmers on Tuesday from Varanasi as part of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, according to Union Minister for Rural Development, Agriculture, and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan. According to Mr. Chouhan, who briefed the media in New Delhi, 11 crore farmers’ accounts had received transfers totaling three lakh crore rupees over the same ten-year period.
In order to attend the Prime Minister’s function on Tuesday, Mr. Chouhan stated that he had sent letters to each Chief Minister. He emphasized that he has worked on every significant problem pertaining to the welfare of farmers and has discussed them with ministry officials since taking office as Minister of Rural Development, Agriculture, and Farmers Welfare. Mr. Chouhan stated that he has also examined his ministry’s work plan in light of the New Government’s 100-day plan. The Minister went on to say that he must treat every issue seriously and that any necessary changes to the scheme’s rules and regulations will be implemented.
