To commemorate the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illegal Trafficking, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is holding “Nasha Mukth Bharat Pakhwada- नशा मुक्त भारत पखवाड़ा” from today till the 26th of this month all around the nation. Raising public awareness of the detrimental effects of drug abuse is the goal of this observance. According to a statement from NCB, it has set a goal to inspire an increasing number of people to sign the “e-pledge” to stop drug addiction.
In favor of a “Drug Free India,” the government has reiterated its steadfast commitment. Every year on June 26th, the United Nations General Assembly proclaims it as the “International Day against Drug Abuse and Illegal Trafficking.”
