New Delhi: For those hoping to start a career in government service, the Railway Recruitment Cell of Western Central Railway has announced an intriguing opportunity. Online applications are being accepted for 3,015 Apprentice positions. It is recommended that candidates who meet the qualifying requirements go to wcr.indianrailways.gov.in, the official website of WCR, to electronically submit their applications.
The deadline to apply for the aforementioned posts is January 14, 2024, and the registration procedure is presently underway. Number of vacancy reported in JBP Division: 1164, BPL Division: 603, WRS KOTA: 196, CRWS BPL: 170, HQ/JBP: 29, KOTA Division: 853. The interested and qualified candidates must possess a Class 10th pass certificate from an accredited board with a minimum of 50% of the possible points overall. Additionally, the applicant must possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade from NCVT or SCVT.
The age range of 15 to 24 years old is required for candidates to be eligible for the positions. Additionally, individuals who fall under reserved categories are eligible for an age relaxation. A merit list will be used to choose applicants for West Central Railway’s apprenticeship programme. This ranking will be created by adding up the average grades from the 10th grade or its equivalent and the grades from ITI/Trade.
