In order to make it easier for the people to attend the Independence Day program, Delhi Metro will start operating on August 15 at 4:00 AM. Train services will run every 15 minutes on all lines until 6:00 AM, at which point the usual schedule will be adhered to for the remainder of the day. Furthermore, individuals who have a legitimate invitation card for the Independence Day celebration will be able to enter and proceed upon presenting a legitimate government-issued picture identity card at the designated locations. The nearest Metro stations to the event are Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk, where this arrangement may only be exited.
