New Delhi: The foundation of Amrit Kaal would be further strengthened through Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. By 2025, the Prime Minister claimed, his government will have completely eradicated tuberculosis in India. He remembered how thousands of people volunteered to assist TB patients when the TB Mukt Bharat campaign got underway. He further stated that every challenging goal is assuredly accomplished via the force of public engagement and service.
Mr. Modi reminded the audience of their need to maintain the cleanliness of Mother Ganges. He claimed that this is precisely why the “Namami Gange Campaign” was established. He took great delight in the fact that the world is praising India’s initiative. The “Namami Gange” mission is one of the top ten ecosystem restoration projects in the world, according to the United Nations. It is even more encouraging, according to Mr. Modi, that “Namami Gange” was chosen for this prize among 160 similar projects from throughout the globe.
The prime minister claimed that Ganga Praharis and Ganga Doots are also very important to the “Namami Gange” campaign. By planting trees, maintaining ghats, performing Ganga Aarti, staging street dramas, painting, and writing poems, they are working to raise awareness. He emphasised that this programme has had a significant positive impact on biodiversity as well.
