The United States and India assessed the state of their bilateral collaboration in space cooperation, clean energy, defense, technology, and maritime domain awareness. During a bilateral 2+2 inter-sessional meeting on Monday in New Delhi, the two parties evaluated the progress.
According to the External Affairs Ministry, during the meeting, the officials also had a chance to share their opinions on a variety of national and international topics. The 2+2 intersessional set the stage for the upcoming 2+2 ministerial dialogue aimed at advancing the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership between the United States and India.
Joint Secretaries Vishwesh Negi and Nagaraj Naidu, who oversee international cooperation, headed the Indian delegation during the meeting. US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs Jedidiah P. Royal and US Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu led the American delegation.
