Sullia, Mangaluru: In a very unfortunate incident, a girl died after brushing her teeth with rat poison. It is reported that she used rat poison in place of toothpaste by mistake and became severely ill.
She was rushed to a hospital in the city but she failed to respond to the treatment. The victim of this tragic incident is Shravya (22).
The toothpaste had been kept near the bathroom window of her house. Beside it, rat poison was also kept. The room being dark, Shravya picked rat poison instead of toothpaste and brushed her teeth with it.
She fell ill and her family members immediately admitted her into Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru. But Shravya succumbed.
