New Delhi: All hospitals are participating in a nationwide mock drill to evaluate the nation’s Covid-19 emergency preparation.

It is due to the increase in COVID-19 instances in several nations. The readiness of the infrastructure, with an emphasis on oxygen plants, ventilators, logistics, and human resources, is evaluated during the drill as are the resources available in the hospital to combat COVID. Days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a review meeting on the country’s covid status, it was decided to conduct the drill.

In order to examine the mock drill, Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya travelled to Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi this morning. Speaking to the media, he promised them that, should the number of Covid cases in the nation rise, the administration would be completely prepared to handle any situation. The Minister stated that in order to ensure that patients receive the right care, practise drills are being held today at all of the country’s covid hospitals.
