Nagababu’s Daughter, Singer Rahul Sipligunj Detained After Police Busts Rave Party

Hyderabad: Telugu Bigg Boss Season 3 winner Rahul Sipligunj was detained in the wee hours of Sunday, April 3. He was among the many who were taken into custody after the Banjarahills Police conducted raids on hotel Raddison Blue in Hyderabad.

Around 150 youths, including girls, were taken into custody after the police raided the rave party. Telugu Bigg Boss 3 winner and singer Rahul Sipligunj was also among those detained. Along with Rahul, actress Niharika Konidela, daughter of actor Nagababu was present at the party.

Actress-producer Niharika Konidela had got married to Hyderabad-based techie Chaitanya in December 2020.

According to The Hindu, the daughter of former DGP and PSC Chairman of AP Goutham Singh, the son of Guntur MP Galla Jayadev also were present at the party.

Police raided the hotel around 3 am and found that guests were having a rave party, violating the rules and the pub was running after closing hours.

All the guests, including Rahul Sipligunj, were let off in the morning after the police took their details. However, the hotel staff and manager have been detained for legal action. The Banjara Hills Police Inspector has been suspended for not doing his duty.

Nagababu issues statement

It is all known that the Mega family’s cute actress Niharika Konidela has been spotted in Radisson Blu’s Pudding and Mink last night.

Niharika’s father Naga Babu released an official statement regarding this matter and cleared the air on the rumours. In a video message, he said, “My daughter Niharika was present at a pub in a five-star hotel last night. Police have nabbed the management for running the pub beyond permitted timings. However, the police have confirmed she is clean and has nothing to do with the drugs that were recovered.” He also added, “I have seen a lot of baseless news doing rounds on social media. I appeal to everyone to stop spreading such rumours”.
