New Delhi: Startup applications were made available by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) for registration on the MAARG site, the National Mentorship Platform by Startup India.

The application’s goal is to catalyse the startup culture and create a robust, inclusive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in India, thereby enhancing the startup ecosystem. The MAARG portal, which stands for mentoring, advisory, assistance, resilience, and growth, is a one-stop hub for businesses in a variety of industries, stages, and backgrounds.

Three phases Mentor Onboarding, Startup Onboarding, MAARG Portal Launch, and Mentor Matchmaking are involved in the operationalization of the MAARG. The final launch, in which mentors will be matched to businesses, has started the onboarding process for entrepreneurs under Phase II, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
