Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik & Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan today inaugurated Product Application & Development Centre set up by Indian Oil Corporation at Paradip through Video Conferencing .
PADC will be the sixth centre in the country & second in eastern India build on 5 acres of land with a capital expenditure of 43 crore. It has been built near IOCL’s refinery & pharmaceutical complex of Paradip.
PADC will be working on development of newer grades from Paradip and curtail polymer imports through substitution. It would also act as a supporting technical centre for polyester yarns and fabrics for the proposed textile unit at Dhamra of Bhadrak. It will work closely in application and development of polymers in collaboration with other reputed institutes.
