The 70th National Film Awards for the year 2022 will be presented in New Delhi today by President Droupadi Murmu. The greatest honor in the film industry, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, will be given to renowned actor Mithun Chakraborty in honor of the event.
The 70th National Film Awards will be given out in 2022 in a number of categories to honor the best in acting, storytelling, and filmmaking. For his outstanding performance in the Kannada film Kantara, Rishab Shetty is going to win the best actor award.
Nithya Menen for the Tamil film Thiruchitrambalam and Manasi Parekh for the Gujarati film Kutch Express will share the Best Actress prize. Kishore Kumar: The Ultimate Biography, written by Anirudha Bhattacharjee and Parthiv Dhar, will get the Best Book on Cinema award. Aparajito, Brahmastra, KGF 2, and other well-known movies will also be honored for their efforts.
The Malayalam movie Aattam will be named Best Feature Film, and Ayena will be named Best Non-Feature Film. Arijit Singh will be honoured as the Best Male Playback Singer and Bombay Jayashri as the Best Female Playback Singer in the music category.
